Introduction to professional squatter Janyce D. Bartlett
Hello, my name is Cecilia Barnett. I am 78 years old and I qualify as a "vulnerable adult". In October of 2023, I made the foolish mistake of entering into a solely oral contract to allow a drifter called Janyce Bartlett to use my garage solely as storage for $400 per month and 10 hours of work around my property per month. As will be detailed in this post, Janyce has a consistent history of being evicted from various apartments and campgrounds, with the managers or landlords often threatening legal action if she doesn't vacate. She has one adult child that she never mentions. I didn't know until it was too late that Janyce was a professional squatter. So far she has lived for the last 6 month in my garage rent free.
